Our conscious mind is a bit like the iceberg that’s poking out above sea level.
There is so much more going on underneath the surface than meets the eye.
Scientific research has shown that we are actually led by our subconscious mind most or all of the time.
Our subconscious mind makes decisions seconds or even minutes before our conscious mind is even aware of the thought.
It’s a bit like a natural filtering system where we are spared most decisions in our focused conscious state.
The body takes care of all the processes needed to keep things going while our conscious mind can float or flow from one subject or task to another.
Meditation and breath control is one of the ways to quieten the mind and get a deeper understanding of our inner selves. There is a Zen saying that everyone should meditate for 20 minutes a day. And if someone is too busy to meditate for 20 minutes a day, that person should meditate for an hour a day.
Thus clearing the way to healing, inner peace, knowledge, bliss and tranquility.
